Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. Earns Special Recognition From American Sports Builders Association (ASBA)

On March 1, 2015, Sportsfield Specialties Inc. (SSI) was recognized as the first member in the history of the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) to earn the organization’s Supplier Certificate of Distinction. The designation is conferred on companies in the supplier division of the ASBA that illustrate exemplary commitment and service to the construction or renovation of running tracks, sports fields, tennis courts, and indoor sports facilities.

The Daily Star: NFL Films Presents Segment Highlights SSI in Delhi

NFL Films Presents offers a look at the history and manufacture of goal posts, highlighting a Delhi factory, according to a media release. Sportsfield Specialties Inc. goal posts are used in 23 of the 31 NFL stadiums, the release said, and the film will be shown on cable network Fox Sports 1 at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The work of a Delaware County company will be spotlighted in an edition of NFL Films Presents to air several times this week on Fox Sports 1. Sportsfield Specialties Inc., a Delhi-based company that specializes in the sale and manufacture of sports construction equipment — most visibly, football goal posts — is to be featured in a show scheduled to air 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

$15 Million In Grants Go To Catskills Organizations

Gov. Andrew Cuomo handed out early Christmas presents on Thursday, Dec. 11 in the form of $709.2 million in economic and community development funding to hundreds of organizations across New York state.
